HCG (5000iu)

hCG — human chorionic gonadotropin. A glycoprotein hormone normally made by the placenta in pregnancy. hCG mimics an LH (luteinizing hormone) signal to the gonads.

Uses:

• Women / fertility — the “trigger shot” in IVF and IUI cycles: it induces final egg maturation and ovulation at a precisely timed point. Also used for ovulation induction and to support the corpus luteum in early luteal phase.
• Men — hypogonadotropic hypogonadism: it stimulates Leydig cells to produce testosterone internally, and combined with FSH it restarts sperm production.
• Alongside testosterone therapy — preserves testicular size and intratesticular testosterone, which exogenous testosterone otherwise shuts down; used to maintain fertility and in HPTA restart protocols.

Main benefit: it drives the body’s own hormone production rather than replacing it — so testosterone and sperm output come from the testes themselves, and ovulation timing becomes controllable.
